The Betfair Tingle Creek Christmas

Festival at Sandown Park Racecourse

Videogames: Design/Play/Disrupt at

the Victoria & Albert Museum until

24th February gives a unique insight

into the design process behind a selection

of groundbreaking contemporary

videogames, the first exhibition of its kind.

Using large-scale multimedia, interactive

installations and design work, including

concept art and prototypes, you can

explore how the industry is pushing

boundaries in radical new ways. There

are also playable games in the final room.

LONDON HEATHROW

Celebrate the new Lord Mayor as

the spectacular Lord Mayor’s Show

winds its way between Bank and

Aldwych on 10th November. The show

dates back to 1215, when King John

granted a charter allowing the citizens of

London to elect their own mayor. Every

year since, the newly-elected Lord Mayor

has travelled to Westminster to pledge

allegiance to the Crown. Join in the

celebrations as the colourful, three-mile-

long procession formed of 140 floats and

7,000 performers travels across the city.

You can also enjoy guided tours of the

City and stay until late afternoon to see

fireworks light up the sky over the Thames.
