Motown the Musical is bringing its unique
sound to the New Alexandra Theatre
from 11th October-3rd November. It tells the
thrilling tale of Berry Gordy, the man who
fought against the odds to create something
more than a record label. Discover the story
behind Motown, the personal relationships,
the professional struggles, and – of course
– the music that made history, defined the
sound of a generation and got the whole
world moving to the same beat.

Restaurant Chez Albert on the
dockside of the Port des Pêcheurs.
Right by the beach, it has the freshest fish
and seafood, sourced from the St Jean
de Luz fish market. You can enjoy it in the

in the musical adventure Madagascar – A
Musical Adventure, based on the smash
DreamWorks animated motion picture.
It follows the friends as they escape from
their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo
and find themselves on an unexpected
journey to King Julien’s Madagascar.
Matt Terry – Winner of 2016’s X-Factor
– plays Alex The Lion in this brand-new
adaptation.
BORDEAUX
Set in the heart of Bordeaux, in
Place Saint-Christoly, Mama Shelter
is an elegant yet quirky hotel in the
historic Gas Tower building that was
Bordeaux’s first experiment in architectural
Modernism. The hotel’s stylish rooms – they
come in Small, Medium, Large, XL and
XXL Family – are designed by Philippe
Starck and feature lively patterns, cartoon
masks, painted calligraphy on the walls
and ceilings, illuminated headboards and
