Whose time?
Tim Heap
Tim has a degree in multimedia journalism and a keen
sense of adventure. When he’s not at work, he can
often be found relaxing on the beach, and this month
he has been enjoying the Cornish charm of St Ives. He
shares his review of an idyllic holiday cottage on p40.
Verity Willcocks
After beginning her career in book publishing,Verity saw
a bit of the world and decided to go into journalism.
With specialities in property and travel, she now works
as a writer and sub-editor. Her favourite things are days
out with her family and any kind of chocolate.
Adam Duxbury
Adam has a degree in journalism and a background
in feature writing.Always keen on trying out the latest
foodie happenings, this month he’s been in Manchester,
where he was wowed by a delightful Chinese restaurant
– see his review on p32.
Markus Bidaux
Markus is a freelance photographer and writer from
Canada who moved to the UK 13 years ago. He has
since worked for a wide variety of publications,
covering travel, lifestyle and celebrity content. Read
about his adventures in Sussex on p59.
Robert Birkby
Robert Birkby is a landscape and travel photographer
based in West Yorkshire. He writes for several magazines
worldwide and supplies images to the travel and
tourism industry. His favourite place is undoubtedly the
UK, and in this issue (p42) he writes about his local area.
Laurène Pineau
Laurène finished her Graphic Design course at the
University of Kent four years ago. Since then, she’s proved
herself a vital member of the Stream team, controlling
advert production whilst designing digital magazines,
apps, adverts, and this whole issue of
