“We will remain

focused on

our mission

of connecting

regional

customers

and doing so

cost-effectively,

punctually and

with a smile”

Welcome on board your

Flybe flight today.

At Flybe, we pride ourselves on serving regional communities increasingly

under-served by mainstream airlines and other modes of travel with swift,

unrivalled connectivity across the UK and Europe as well as to long-haul

destinations through our codeshare partners at key international hubs.

As Europe’s largest regional airline, we focus on short regional routes with

multiple daily frequencies, providing a compelling alternative to slow and

usually more expensive travel by road, rail and ferry. That’s why our tagline is

‘Faster than Road or Rail’.

With Flybe, you can choose from 214 routes operating from 75 departure points

across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe. This summer we significantly

expanded our network with 24 new routes. A high point was the launch last

month of our first ever intra-European services, with two routes now flying from

Hannover to Lyon and Milan. This month we are also launching ‘rescue flights’

connecting Cardiff to London during the six-week closure of the Severn Tunnel,

when there will be no direct rail link between the two capital cities.

Many of our customers have asked how June’s UK referendum vote to leave

the European Union will impact Flybe. It is quite simple. We will remain focused

on our mission of connecting regional customers and doing so cost-effectively,

punctually and with a smile. It will take two years from the moment the UK

Government formally triggers exit discussions with the EU for exit to take place,

and there will undeniably be some uncertainty for all airlines while new

arrangements are negotiated. However, the UK will always geographically be a

part of Europe with continuing important cultural, social and economic links

with the mainland. Our regional customers will continue to rely on Flybe for

access across the UK, Europe and the wider world. In the long run, therefore, it

is unlikely that our mission will be affected in a significant way by new

arrangements with the EU. One thing that will not change for sure is our

commitment to provide you with the best possible customer experience.

Thank you for choosing to fly with us today. Enjoy your flight.
