For something a little out of the
ordinary, visit the Capuchin
Crypt. Located beneath the
17th-century church Santa Maria della
Concezione dei Cappuccini on Via
Venetto, it is famous for its collection
of thousands of human bones which
have been used to elaborately
decorate the walls and ceilings. The
crypt is believed to contain the bones
and mummified remains of around
4,000 former friars who died between
1528 and 1870, and was designed to
act as a reminder of our mortality. A
plaque in the crypt reads: “What you
are now, we once were; what we are
now, you shall be.”
SOUTHAMPTON
The Rocky Horror Show hits the Mayflower Theatre from 8th-13th April, starring
Duncan James, best known as a member of the band, Blue. Follow squeaky-clean
sweethearts Brad and Janet on an adventure they’ll never forget, with the scandalous
Frank ‘n’ Furter, rippling Rocky and vivacious Magenta. Full of timeless classics, including
Sweet Transvestite, Damn It Janet, and of course, the pelvic-thrusting Time Warp, Richard
O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show just doesn’t stop. With its frothy fun and naughty moments,
this is the boldest bash of them all, so fish out the fishnets and sharpen those stilettos for the
rockiest ride of your life! Be warned, this show has rude parts.

STUTTGART
V8 – Motorworld, Stuttgart’s original
hotel – was joined by a new branch
last year, close to the original hotel.
On the ground floor, there’s a lobby,
