The kids can let off steam in

this historic park, the oldest

in Milan, in the Porta Venezia

district. It’s a lovely green

space, situated between

the Planetarium, the Natural

small waterfalls, bridges,

ponds and an intricate

system of paths, there

are also several small

playgrounds and pony rides.

NATURAL HISTORY

MUSEUM

This huge museum is home

to many valuable mineral,

botanical and zoological

collections. Attractions

include a large fossil

collection, reconstructions of

extinct animals and dioramas

with stuffed animals shown in

their natural habitats. It’s also

home to Italy’s only dinosaur

skeleton.

Take a trip to the Parco della

Preistoria di Rivolta d’Adda

dinosaur park 25 kms to the

east of Milan’s city centre.

The park is located in a vast

natural area of woodland,

and there are over 30 scale

models of animals that lived

in prehistoric times, including

fish, amphibians, reptiles,

dinosaurs, mammals and

even prehistoric man.
