Longueville Manor
Longueville Manor has been
lovingly restored from a historic
country house to a charming
boutique hotel with 30 bedrooms,
situated in an 18-acre estate at
the foot of one of Jersey’s most
beautiful valleys. It’s surrounded
by walking trails and the croquet
lawn, heated swimming pool
and all-weather tennis court
The Radio Tower
Set on a cliff top overlooking
Corbière lighthouse on Jersey’s
south-west tip, the Radio Tower
is one of the island’s most iconic
sites. It provides stunning
accommodation over six floors,
with an amazing 360-degree view.
Built during the Second World
War by German Occupying
Forces, the tower has been
sympathetically restored in a
German modernist Bauhaus style
with a concrete staircase winding
through the centre of the building
over six floors to a wooden spiral
staircase which takes you to the
top floor. Original features include
observation slots and steel doors
on the ground floor. The second to
fourth floors house three identical
double bedrooms, each customised
within the rounded walls of the
tower with fitted wardrobes and
their own adjacent shower rooms.
The kitchen occupies the fourth
floor, and the observation deck
overlooks stunning St Ouen bay.
The Atlantic Hotel
Built in the seventies and still
owned by the same family, The
Atlantic Hotel beautifully blends
luxury with the most stunning
ocean views over St Ouen’s Bay. Its
six acres of grounds border the La
Moye Golf Course, and there are
indoor and outdoor pools, a health
club, tennis courts and the beach
on the doorstep.
The majority of rooms have
either sea or golf-course views,
and all have balconies. The larger
garden studios have antique
furniture and private terraces.
Dining in the hotel’s award-
winning Ocean Restaurant is a
memorable experience, thanks to
chef Will Holland and his skill at
using local ingredients to stunning
effect in dishes such as Jersey
Crab with Mango Salsa, Aromatic
Mayonnaise and Coriander, and
Pan-fried Turbot Fillet with Crab
Risotto. The recently-opened
exclusive Tasting Room showcases
a seven-course gourmet menu
which Will describes as ‘a modern
adventure in food and wine’

also provide plenty of outdoor
entertainment.
Rooms have been individually
designed, and the two-storey
Cottage Suite adjacent to the hotel
boasts two luxurious en-suite
double bedrooms, an open-plan
lounge and a dining area. There’s
even a peaceful spa in the grounds,
offering pampering treatments.
Executive Chef Andrew Baird’s
creative menus, served in the
15th-century Oak Room or the
Garden Room, centre on local
produce. In the Victorian kitchen
garden an underground crypt,
said to have been built in the 16th
century, now serves as the hotel’s
own smoke house, and there are 24
bee hives that produce all the hotel
and restaurant’s honey throughout
the year.
