A new direct daily flight between Guernsey and
London Heathrow Airport will take off on 31st March.
For the first time in 20 years, it will provide the Island
with a connection to London’s largest airport and
to the numerous onward links available via the UK’s
busiest international hub.
Despite being one of the world’s foremost
international finance centres and, with its mild
climate and rich military history, popular as a tourist
destination, Guernsey has had no fast, convenient
connection to London Heathrow since the late 1990s.
Roy Kinnear, Chief Commercial Officer says: “We
are naturally delighted to provide Guernsey with
connectivity to the capital and onwards to the long-
haul destinations available via Heathrow.”
This means that, with the addition of Guernsey, we
will now be operating four routes to and from London
Heathrow this summer, the others being a new route
from Cornwall Airport Newquay and our existing
services from Aberdeen and Edinburgh, which
started back in 2017.

We will be operating an extra three flights
a week from Exeter Airport to Edinburgh
on Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings,
together with an extra Sunday service to
Amsterdam, effective from 31st March.
This is in addition to the double-daily flights
to and from Paris Charles de Gaulle, which
offer the added opportunity for convenient
onward connections to a wide range of
international destinations with our codeshare
partners that include Air France.
Other highlights of our Summer schedule
from Exeter include
:
• Four sun routes with multi-frequency weekly
services to Alicante, Faro, Málaga and
Palma de Mallorca
• Four flights a week to Norwich
• A daily London City service and multi-
frequency flights to Manchester
• Extension of the winter ski service to
Geneva through to the end of April
