ur 2018-19 winter schedule started

last month and at Flybe we are all

full of warm winter cheer as we

continue working to improve our

service to you and boost regional connectivity

across the UK and Europe.

Having listened to customer feedback, we

have recently added flights on some of our

key routes, such as extra frequencies from

Southampton and Exeter. And I am pleased to

say that you can also now book

your summer travel with us

through to 8th September, 2019.

This month is always

particularly busy as many of us

strive to complete end-of-year

business to free up time towards

the end of the year to enjoy

valuable downtime.

The demand for domestic

regional travel is especially high

during this time. Flying direct from regional

airports can be considered a far more convenient

option, avoiding increasingly heavily-congested

roads and the lengthier journey time often

associated with rail travel.

In line with our commitment to be ‘Close

to You’, we have also added a number of extra

flights on key leisure routes to satisfy customer

demand for travel over the Christmas and New

Year holidays. I’d advise anyone wanting to

travel over this busy time to book your seats

without delay to ensure you take advantage of

the best possible fares.

short pre-festive break to inspire and uplift you,

either for a long weekend or a short mid-week

break, to visit at least one of the many magical,

traditional Christmas markets that start this

month. We offer direct flights to many of the

top cities which host some of the largest and best

known, including those in Germany and France;

not to mention those now held in cities such as

London, Manchester and Edinburgh that are

now recognised as being up there amongst the

very best.

Our airline strapline ‘Close to

You’ certainly came to life when

we marked our 35th anniversary

at Belfast City Airport recently,

a relationship which goes back

to when it started commercial

operations in 1983. Today, we

not only offer a comprehensive

range of domestic destinations

from the airport, which is only

10 minutes away from the heart of Northern

Ireland’s capital city, but through numerous

codeshares and our hubs at Manchester and

Birmingham, Northern Ireland travellers can

seamlessly connect to and from almost anywhere

in the world.

Wherever you are flying today, thank you

for choosing Flybe and we look forward to

welcoming you on board again soon.
