Get ready for one of Britain’s
first urban glamping sites,
which opens on 6th July on the
rooftop of Liverpool’s iconic
Shankly Hotel. The first of its kind
in Liverpool, this new venue will
provide the ultimate urban oasis,
blending a unique glamping
experience with a cosmopolitan
city-centre vibe.
Situated above the Eden
rooftop, the new sun-drenched
spot will transport guests to a
festival-inspired getaway with
breathtaking views of Liverpool’s
spectacular skyline, along with
everything you need to throw the
perfect private party, including
luxury tipis, Jacuzzis, infinity
pools, 32-inch TV screens and
Bluetooth Surround Sound. Each
of the lavish tipis accommodates
up to six guests, and there’s a bar
and waiter service. Whether it’s
to celebrate a special occasion,
or just for a memorable day
and night out with friends, this
promises to be the most sought-
after venue this summer.
The New Generation Festival will take over
the gardens of the Palazzo Corsini in Florence
from 29th August-1st September for its
highly-anticipated second year, creating an
international platform for the finest young
music, theatre and opera talent.
Throughout the weekend, audiences
will be treated to a variety of open-air
musical and dramatic performances.
The programme includes Mozart’s Don
Giovanni; Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto and
Symphony No 5, featuring soloist Charlie
Siem. There will also be a full staging of
Shakespeare’s Henry V, starring Jack Gordon
and Alice St Clair. Never performed before
with a full live orchestra, this will be set to the
score by Sir William Walton, made famous by
the 1942 Lawrence Olivier film.
The festival will also play host to non-
classical performances from up-and-coming

There will be daytime
events on offer including
exclusive wine tastings,
cultural tours and excursions,

between performances, guests can
explore the beautiful gardens.
