Marathon Man

A dance marathon in a northern town forms the

backdrop for a foot-stomping and thought-provoking

new musical that promises to have audiences on their

feet across the UK.

No Miracles Here

 is set to embark on a 15-date

national tour this spring, opening at Northern Stage in

Newcastle on 15th February.

Ray is young man with a big night ahead of him.

The music has started, and he can’t leave the floor.

He just has to keep going. Follow the journey of Ray

and his band The Raylettes in what is an uplifting and

joyful look at how you can overcome depression

through dancing.

association with the charity Mind.

Collect 2019, the international art fair

for modern craft and design, will return

to the Saatchi Gallery for its 15th edition

from 28th February-3rd March. With a

fresh vision, new international galleries,

stunning installations and work by 400

celebrated artists from over 30 countries,

Collect reinforces its position as the

leading gallery-presented fair dedicated

to modern craft and design.

magnificent showcase of modern craft

staged by 40 leading galleries across

ceramics, jewellery, glass, metal, wood

and textiles and makers working in non-

traditional materials with experimental


Presented by the Crafts Council,

Collect offers an unrivalled opportunity to

see and buy exceptional contemporary

craft, with most works produced

exclusively for the Fair.

Shining a light on 15 installations and

new projects, Collect Open will showcase

15 ambitious, craft-led installations by artists

including Katharine Swailes with intricate

tapestries inspired by the solar system; Mary

O’Malley, who will create an American-

style BBQ set and dinner service with Ming

Dynasty porcelain-inspired patterns; and

David Clarke and Tracey Rowledge with

pewter and glass sculptures illuminated

by a suspended lightbox.
