2018 is set to be a year of positive developments for our airline and we are

looking forward to introducing you to a strengthened, renewed brand later this

month that is planned to bring us closer to all our customers. It will highlight

our raison d’être in providing regional air travel that brings people together

across our nation, but that also seamlessly connects to and from the UK

regions with international carriers at key metropolitan airport hubs for easier

long-haul travel.

We also have some big IT changes planned that will be completed later in

the year, with full migration to an industry-leading digital platform. We have

listened to your feedback and have already started this technology evolution

with a faster, more efficient user-friendly website and mobile service. I hope

you will agree this now provides a better end-to-end experience. Through

introducing a range of advanced technology, we will be able to adjust our

product to suit your specific needs with a personalised online customer

experience and a more consistent service at all points of your journey with us.

This month also marks my first year as Flybe’s CEO – I’ve certainly learned a

lot and I’m very excited to be taking us forward with these new projects that

will help us to better serve your travel needs and expectations so that, when

choosing to fly with us, you enjoy an excellent product experience.

With the Christmas and New Year festivities over for another year, our

thoughts turn towards spring, so now is an ideal time to consider a late winter

sun or ski trip. We have a wide choice of affordable and enticing destinations

for summer that you can now book for travel through to the end of October.

During these winter months, it’s an unfortunate reality that adverse weather

conditions can often disrupt travel plans. Remember, you can always check out

the status of your Flybe flight and manage your bookings on our website. The

safety of our passengers and crew is our number one priority and we will
