The client: The international go-to car hire brand, Hertz has been renting vehicles for more than 90 years and now operates in an extraordinary 8,100 locations worldwide. Nearly 200 of those stretch across the UK, from all major airports to countless cities.

The brief: To create a monthly internal newsletter, in print and digital formats, that will act as a communications platform that connects the UK head office and its national branches – engaging teams by sharing success and best practice to inform and inspire.

The magazine: An eight-page, saddle-stitched newsletter in an otherwise conventional, cost-effective A4 format is enlivened by marrying clear and clean brand standards with stronger colours, illustrations and infographics to entice and engage the reader.

The result: Across the Hertz UK network there is clear evidence of a broader understanding of a range of initiatives and activities to the benefit of what now seems a very human business – be it marketing campaigns explained or local staff achievements.
